I got the opportunity to try "Inca Kola - The Golden Kola". This is apparently super popular in Peru - they prefer this over Coca Cola. I expected it to taste similar to Coca Cola, but it actually tastes closer to Cream Soda (or is it Club Soda? I always get those two confused). Nonetheless, it was pretty tasty.

Title: Oatmeal, cranberries & coconut cookies

Just finished baking these! Usually it would just be oatmeal raisin, or oatmeal cranberry, but since my aunt wanted some we added coconut (her favorite) and it surprisingly still stayed delicious ^0^
I split the batch in half to have plain oatmeal cookies (just in case this mix became a disaster)
Title: PIXAR Exhibit at the OMCA

I went to the OMCA where they were having a PIXAR exhibit the day before it closed last year. I didn't find out until way late that they had this and just HAD to see it so I made a point to make a trip out. It was super awesome! They didn't allow cameras inside (sadness) but it was just so amazing. I wish I could have documented everything; everyone at PIXAR is just so talented and awesome!

After a failed attempt at trying to find this fountain a couple of years prior, we finally found it! It was kind of right in our face, we are just bad with directions ^___^;;
This Yoda Fountain is just full of awesome! It's right by The Palace of Fine Arts, so we hopped on over. There's even a life-size Darth Vader inside the building in the back, too! *0*

As mentioned in the previous post, I went to The Palace of Fine Arts last year. It's a really scenic place to go, with the Exploratorium right next door :D (Plus, Fly to the Sky shot their "Sea of Love" MV here, so it's a must go to place!)

Another ramen place in San Mateo - Ramen Dojo. I've heard a few people say that they prefer this place over Santa Ramen, but my preference is still with Santa Ramen. Apparently Ramen Dojo is known for it's spicy levels, and since I'm a wimp and cannot handle spicy, that's probably why I don't prefer this place (I order it non-spicy heh heh). It's still pretty good ramen, though! I've gone there 2 times so far; it's a definite try!

I went to Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden last Saturday to help a friend take some engagement photos. But sadly, we found out that all the tulips were completely wilted!! But there were some other interesting flowers, like the ones pictured above. I have no idea what flowers they are :\

I went to Bashful Bull Too on Saturday for "brunch"; we were supposed to meet at 11:00 a.m. but didn't order until around noon because one of our friends was running late. They were really nice about letting us sit there for practically an hour before ordering; it was fairly busy but the turn over was quick and there were enough tables for everyone. The restaurant is a diner with typical diner foods; I would say this is a decent place to go to if you're in the area and you want some breakfast food.
I spent $12.21 with tax and tip; we ended up splitting the bill evenly between 3 people, but I think technically my share should have been a little less if I paid just for my portion, but I didn't mind putting in the extra dollar or whatever.
